ABOUT
Dr. Greg DeNaeyer has been practicing Optometry for 25 years, dedicating his work to changing the lives of individuals through comprehensive eye care and the use of scleral contact lenses.
Dr. DeNaeyer was a co-founder and past president of the Scleral Lens Education Society and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He is a contributing editor for Contact Lens Spectrum and a contributor to Review of Cornea and Contact Lenses and Optometric Management. Dr. DeNaeyer is an internationally recognized contact lens specialist, having delivered invited lectures or workshops at over seventy conferences, authored 2 scholarly book chapters, 7 posters, 5 peer-reviewed scientific papers, and over 50 professional publications (primarily related to complex contact lens fitting). He has also been involved in a number of industry-sponsored trials and has contributed to the development of new scleral lens designs and innovative ocular imaging technology. Currently his primary research is focused on specialty lens design and corneo-scleral topography. Dr. DeNaeyer is the recipient of the GPLI practitioner of the year award, Scleral lens Education Society practitioner of the year award, GPLI keratoconus practitioner of the year award, and the Herschel medal from the International Society of Contact Lens Specialists.
